Cooperation with NSERC-Automotive Partnership Canada
Within the bilateral cooperation agreement signed by the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) a specific cooperation action between the Flagship Project “La Fabbrica del Futuro” and NSERC-Automotive Partnership Canada has been launched. By considering the industrial and research priorities of the two initiatives, cooperation will focus on two priority areas: Products and Processes based on innovative materials and Next-generation Manufacturing, with a special focus on the automotive sector.
NSERC – Automotive Partnership Canada has selected among the projects financed within Subproject 1 the ones which are most coherent with its research priorities. These projects may have the opportunity of submitting a joint cooperation proposal with Canadian research teams. The four projects which have been selected by NSERC-APC are as follows:
FACTOTHUMS – FACTOry Technologies for HUMans Safety
GECKO – Generic Evolutionary Control Knowledge-based mOdule
SuFSeF – Sustainable Factory Semantic Framework
SNAPP – Surface Nano-structured Coating for Improved Performance of Axial Piston Pumps
